Yorke Peninsula Council - Town Activation Project
Engage360 partnered with Yorke Peninsula Council to deliver a comprehensive community consultation and engagement program across 13 towns, supporting Council to strengthen relationships and inform future planning.
With communities experiencing the impacts of an algal bloom, Council sought meaningful ways to reconnect with residents, understand local priorities, and respond effectively to emerging challenges.
Engage360 designed and delivered a multi-channel engagement approach, including an online survey and facilitated community workshops in each town. These sessions were structured to encourage participation from a diverse mix of residents, business owners, community leaders, and stakeholders, ensuring a wide range of voices were heard.
Through a combination of quantitative survey data and qualitative community insights, Louise developed a detailed Town Engagement Report that captured local concerns, aspirations, and ideas for activation and renewal.
The findings now inform Council’s town activation plans, supporting more responsive decision-making, targeted investment, and stronger community partnerships.
This project strengthened trust between Council and its communities and provided a clear, evidence-based foundation for long-term place-based planning across the Yorke Peninsula.
Outdoors NSW and ACT - Women in Leadership Program
Engage360 partnered with Outdoors NSW & ACT to support participants in its Women in Leadership Program through targeted training and personalised mentoring.
Engage360 designed and delivered an interactive workshop focused on building strong professional networks and using mentoring relationships to support career development and leadership growth. The session provided practical tools, real-world insights, and strategies participants could immediately apply in their workplaces.
In addition to workshop delivery, Louise provided one-on-one mentoring, supporting participants to clarify goals, build confidence, navigate workplace challenges, and strengthen their leadership presence.
As a result, participants developed stronger professional connections, greater confidence in pursuing leadership opportunities, and clearer pathways for career progression. Outdoors NSW & ACT benefited from a more connected, capable, and empowered cohort of emerging women leaders.
Through this partnership, Engage360 strengthened leadership capability and long-term workforce development within the outdoor sector.
District Council of Peterborough - Grants review
Engage360 partnered with the District Council of Peterborough to review and strengthen its management of major infrastructure funding programs, including Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) and Roads to Recovery.
Council engaged Engage360 to assess existing grant processes, identify risks, and address outstanding reporting and compliance requirements. Previous programs and reporting obligations had not been fully reviewed or completed, creating financial and operational risk for the organisation.
Engage360 conducted a detailed review of grant documentation, reporting systems, and internal workflows. She worked closely with staff to bring programs up to date, resolve outstanding acquittals, and strengthen compliance with funding requirements.
As a result, Council avoided potential funding clawbacks, reduced financial risk, and achieved significant cost savings. Improved systems and documentation also strengthened transparency and accountability.
To ensure long-term sustainability, Louise delivered targeted training and practical tools for staff, building internal capability and confidence in managing future grant programs.
This project improved Council’s financial resilience, strengthened governance, and embedded more effective, efficient grant management processes—supporting better outcomes for the community.

Yorke Peninsula Council
"I strongly recommend Engage 360. Yorke Peninsula Council utilised Engage 360 to lead a series of public meetings/workshops with great success. Louise Burford is personable, professional and highly organised both when facilitating in a public setting and when helping to initiate or progress projects behind the scenes. She is equally focused on process and results, adaptable, and can either follow a defined plan or help shape an initiative with expert suggestions and insights depending on her client’s requirements. Her work is helping us define and shape priority projects throughout the region and has also resulted in improved rapport between Council and its communities".

"Our Faculty needed to understand how young people and their families perceive STEM pathways, particularly in communities that are often underrepresented as part of a broader STEM project. Louise delivered a tailored, inclusive engagement program that reached a broad cross-section of students, parents, and educators across South Australia.
She skillfully combined school outreach, focus groups, and one-on-one conversations, adapting her approach for cultural diversity and accessibility. Her ability to create safe, welcoming environments meant participants felt comfortable sharing honest and meaningful insights. Louise also built strong relationships with school staff and community leaders, which significantly strengthened participation and trust.
The insights she gathered have directly shaped our outreach and recruitment strategies, helping us better understand the barriers, perceptions, and opportunities surrounding STEM engagement."
